I was so unhappy with myself when I first stumbled across DNA fitness. I knew something had to change.
DNA has genuinely changed my life. Without the people and the constant support, it would not have been possible.
So many times I have tried to join a gym on my own, and every single one of those times I failed.
The physical changes I have seen are awesome, but most importantly, my mind set has shifted. I’ve realized it is possible to achieve my goals when the work is put in. It is possible to stick with something and make this a lifestyle and not just a quick fix. I’ve learned it is okay to have a bad day, as long as you get back up. That is what my coaches and teammates at this gym do for me. Encourage and support. Waking up every day and having the ability to workout is a blessing in itself.
I am forever grateful for the fellowship I have experienced and all the memories we have made and will continue to make. Excited to reach new goals in 2019!
The nutrition coaching at DNA has been a complete game changer for me! I have always been active and have had some short-lived weight loss achievements here and there, but there was a plateau point for me that I could never hurdle past. I never could quite achieve the fat loss and muscle toning to have a more sculpted physique and encountered strength limitations, too. After getting on the nutrition plan Coach Alex designed for me, I started seeing the gains and losses in all the right areas and passed over that plateau! After 6 weeks I dropped from 140 lbs to 133 lbs and have toned up and leaned out so much. I feel like I have a ton more energy and can go harder in the gym as well. The meal plan is easy to follow and simple to prep in advance which took so much stress off of my busy schedule and relieved having to find the time to cook every day. One of the most amazing parts about the nutrition coaching is the intentional accountability coach Alex provides. He texted me every day to see how I was doing and was always willing to advise me when I needed some modifications due to unforeseen circumstances. He truly knows how to program nutrition and has it down to a science that was always way too stressful or complicated for me to figure out on my own. And you aren’t starving on this plan either! At first I was skeptical because it seemed to be more food than I was eating before I started. The first week I had to hurdle past feeling stuffed all the time, until my body and metabolism figured out how to adjust. After that, I felt like the fat was shedding off consistently (and saw it too!). I can confidently say that my body has never been in better shape. For any one considering getting on the nutrition plan, I highly recommend it and advise you to just TRUST the process and the coach! You learn on this plan that getting and staying in shape is never achieved in a quick fix scheme. Coach Alex gives you an easy set up to learn how to make new nutrition habits and lifestyle changes that will help you keep looking and feeling your best.
In 6 weeks of starting the nutrition program I feel great and getting stronger.
